Boxrud Flats, Red Wing | MN

The Boxrud Flats project was all about balance. Twelve units designed to honor the original architecture - the history, the structure, the charm- while introducing modern finishes that feel intentional and elevated. 

Nothing was stripped of its story. Everything was layered with care. 

1873 Underleak House

Our 1873 Victorian home was a full gut restoration. We preserved, restored, and reinstalled all of the original millwork, honoring the craftsmanship. The architecture remained untouched- tall ceilings, intricate trim work, historic charm in every corner. 

What we added were thoughtful, modern finishes- the kind that make daily life beautiful, functional and effortless- without compromising the soul of the home. 

Historic integrity with elevated, livable luxury. A labor of love in every sense.

Avanti Apartments, Red Wing | MN

Staging the new build at Avanti Apartments was such a creative contrast. Clean lines. Sleek finishes. Modern living at its best.

Instead of leaning fully minimal and modern, I layered in pieces with soul- a touch of antique charm, warm woods, vintage textures, and curated details that soften the edges of new construction. Even the most modern spaces deserve depth, character, and a story.

Blending contemporary architecture with collected, timeworn pieces is my favorite kind of tension- polished yet personal, elevated living. Modern living with a little history woven in. 

Lake Home, WI

Designing and building out lake home was a true creative vision brought to life. A modern take on a cabin in the woods- grounded in nature, but elevated in form. The exterior is bold and architectural- a black modern silhouette set against the trees and lake. Clean lines, strong presence, quiet confidence. 

Inside, we carried that simplicity through with heated concrete floors and modern architecture that feels open, airy and intentional. But what makes it ours is the contrast- antique and vintage furnishings layered into the space to soften the edges and add soul.

It's modern, but not cold. Minimal, but warm. Architectural, yet deeply lived in. A retreat that feels collected over time- even though we built it from the ground up.
